Thin flashes of faded blue divide the field. The borders alternate between chocolate brown, moss, pink, ivory and little remnants of turquoise blue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd then there's the wear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome of the pink has faded almost to blush. The green moves from sage to pistachio to nearly silver. Tiny areas of blue appear and disappear. Neither is the pink. Different sections have mellowed at different rates, creating shifts in tone that move across the rug like watercolor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bottom even gives you that fantastic flash of faded turquoise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNothing is perfectly straight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNothing matches exactly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNothing needs fixing aesthetically.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIt's phenomenal.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCONDITION\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePistachio is a \u003cstrong\u003efragile antique textile showing substantial age-related wear\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are areas of very low and missing pile with exposed foundation, losses and deterioration at the ends and fringe, edge irregularities, and evidence of historic repair and\/or stabilization.
